Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood... which one do you like?

"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange. In those days, we really believe that to be the world's one and only truth." - Alphonse Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist
Fullmetal Alchemist vs Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, which one is better? What is Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? Both of them are based on the same story but  end differently, they have same main characters but some characters are different in each anime. They are both about two boys, who lost their mother and did everything they can with learning alchemy to bring her back. One night they decided to try Alchemy's worst taboo... the Equivalent Exchange. Edward lost his right arm bringing his mom back, while Alphonse the youngest brother lost his whole body. Scared out of his mind and bleeding horribly out of his right arm, Edward Elric grabbed an amour near by than wrote an alchemy symbol on to the armor with his own blood, bringing his brother's soul back... sacrificing his left leg. They set out traveling looking for a way to bring their bodies back to normal, looking a thing called the Philosopher Stone. They meet weird people called Homunculus, known as the deadly seven sins and they are out for the philosopher stone too. The only way they could travel was for Edward to be the dog of the military, they called him Fullmetal. Will they be able to get their bodies back? Will Ed be forever the dog of the military? Who will get the philosopher stone first, Ed and Al or the homunculus? Find out in either anime, Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood!

(This is Fullmetal Alchemist)

(This is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

(The older brother, Edward Elric)

(Younger brother, Alphonse Elric his body trapped in armor)

(Younger brother before he lost his body)

(Childhood friend of Al and Ed, Winry Rockbell)

(Lt. Riza Hawkeye, works with Roy)

(Colonel Roy Mustang, this is Edwards boss)

(The symbol of the homunculus, 7 deadly sins)

To me Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is better because Roy and Riza have more roles in the Anime, those two are my favorite characters. In Brotherhood they add more roles and is more based on the manga, the regular anime is somewhat based on the manga but its not as close as Brotherhood. That is why I love Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood more, also it has more new characters than the original. I would suggest watching both, but for me I rather watch Brotherhood. There are only a few parts in the original I like. I don't want to be a huge spoiler, so I am being as detailed as I can. I suggest watching the original then brotherhood next. Hope you enjoy both animes they are really good!

Love MMORPG? Ever heard of VRMMORPG?

It use to be Bleach, One Piece or Naruto being the biggest hit in Anime. Just came last year was a new anime called Sword Art Online. People are probably going to wonder what is a VRMMORPG? An VRMMORPG is Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. It hasn't been invented in real life but it has in the anime Sword Art Online, it was a huge thing that was invented by a man named Akihiko Kayaba. He invented the Nerve Gear, once the person puts it on his/her head they can enter a virtual reality game, they move around freely without controls just by laying on their bed, if they want out of the game they slide their right or left hand (which ever the person sets it on in settings) down they can; log out, go in to their item bag, friends list, map, and whatever else is programmed in the game. Sword Art Online was invented by Kayaba in the year 2022 along with the Nerve Gear.

(Picture Above is Akihiko Kayaba, the inventor of Sword Art Online and the Never Gear.)

(This is the Nerve Gear)

Thanks to Kayaba's greatest invention, people around Japan bought one. The Never Gear never reached outside of Japan so it never reached the United States. A beta tester who tested this game is named Kirigaya Kazuto, but in the Online World he is known as Kirito. One day him and a whole bunch of people had the Nerve Gear and the game Sword Art Online, that day Kayaba sent everyone back to level one and told everyone they cannot escape this game until they defeat all 100 levels. If they die in the game, they die in real life. It was a chance a lot of people took. The game Sword Art Online is a Medieval Era, they join guilds, battle in armor, have knights and tons of weapons. The only thing different is that they battle monsters and in the real world that never happened. Will Kirito succeed in defeating Kayaba's evil game or will he fail and its game over for him in the game world and in real life?

(This is Kirito also known as Kirigaya Kazuto)

Here is a video of what Sword Art Online is mainly about:

The begining of Mangas in Japan!!

In Japan comic books are consider Mangas, in America it is called comic books. A man named Hokusai, was the first man to create a manga. After having just a couple of comic strips, mangas improved over the years. They used woodblocks back then to make the manga, now we use actual paper. Art was huge in Japan, it still is. I love Japanese art, to me it is peaceful. That is why I love it. It was more of a stage-play, two dimensional drawing, it was because they were knew at it. I am too and artist and I wasn't that good either, but more and more practice I got better. Here is improvements of different mangas over the years:

Here is the first Manga:
\

Here are two others that people will know. See the difference on how much people's art have improved!

See the difference, I love the detail in them! It takes a lot of patience and practice to become a good artist!

Different types of Anime!

There are hundreds of different types of animes. There are the elements, for the audience, and many others. Right now I am just going over the different elements and audiences there are for anime. I won't list all the elements but there is a lot. For instance there is:
Action:
As for Dragonball Z is an action because it is mostly just fighting.

Adventure:
One Piece is an adventure type because he is on a journey around the world.

Romance:
Inuyasha is considered a romance.

There are much more elements, but those are manly the top three that people like. There is types like: Comedy, Mystery, Mecha, Horror, and Super natural. To me it is amazing how much anime has evolved over the years since it was first created, I enjoy anime so much that I am an Otaku. Also known as an addict for anime, how people are with gambling its addicting except we spend our money we expect to get something in return like an anime movie. Not all anime are meant for kids though, that is where I get to talk about the audience. What are the age groups? There are seven different kinds, first there are the types that are 18 and up; Seinen and Josei. Josei is recommended for women made by women, same goes with Seinen except it is for men made by men. Then there is the the kid ones also known as Kodomo and Kazoku. Kodomo is more for kids that can't focus really well and have short attention spans, it teaches the children how to act around adults and other people. Kazoku is for families but are also for kids because they are only PG. Now there is the types for boys and girls around ten years old and up, there called Shojo and Shonen. Shojo is basiclly for girls and involves mostly romance, but this isn't the same for Shonen. Shonen is for boys and it mostly involves action. Last is Mina its more for girls because it involves drama but you would be shocked on how many guys like that type of anime. This is pretty much a short part of the different types of animes out there. I love watching different types and I can't stick to one element, and there isn't just one element. One Piece is an action, adventure and comedy, anime has more than one element. Ever want to make an anime it will have more than one, no one would be interested in it if it didn't have more than one element. Well that is all I can give you about different types of anime!
