Different types of Anime!

There are hundreds of different types of animes. There are the elements, for the audience, and many others. Right now I am just going over the different elements and audiences there are for anime. I won't list all the elements but there is a lot. For instance there is:

Action: 

As for Dragonball Z is an action because it is mostly just fighting.

Adventure:

One Piece is an adventure type because he is on a journey around the world.

Romance:

Inuyasha is considered a romance.

There are much more elements, but those are manly the top three that people like. There is types like: Comedy, Mystery, Mecha, Horror, and Super natural. To me it is amazing how much anime has evolved over the years since it was first created, I enjoy anime so much that I am an Otaku. Also known as an addict for anime, how people are with gambling its addicting except we spend our money we expect to get something in return like an anime movie. Not all anime are meant for kids though, that is where I get to talk about the audience. What are the age groups? There are seven different kinds, first there are the types that are 18 and up; Seinen and Josei. Josei is recommended for women made by women, same goes with Seinen except it is for men made by men. Then there is the the kid ones also known as Kodomo and Kazoku. Kodomo is more for kids that can't focus really well and have short attention spans, it teaches the children how to act around adults and other people. Kazoku is for families but are also for kids because they are only PG. Now there is the types for boys and girls around ten years old and up, there called Shojo and Shonen. Shojo is basiclly for girls and involves mostly romance, but this isn't the same for Shonen. Shonen is for boys and it mostly involves action. Last is Mina its more for girls because it involves drama but you would be shocked on how many guys like that type of anime. This is pretty much a short part of the different types of animes out there. I love watching different types and I can't stick to one element, and there isn't just one element. One Piece is an action, adventure and comedy, anime has more than one element. Ever want to make an anime it will have more than one, no one would be interested in it if it didn't have more than one element. Well that is all I can give you about different types of anime!

The Beginning of Anime in Japan.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Naurto, Bleach and One Piece... what are those? Do you know? Those are called Anime. What is anime? Anime (An-nee-may) was created in the year 1907, by the Japanese. Here is a very short and I mean short video of the first anime ever made:

 

Noticed how I said it was short, but that didn't last long. Things started to improve, Japanese artist ended up getting really good with animation... compared to what we have in the U.S. I think they beat us at that, don't you agree? In the year 1945 an anime was directed by a man named Mitsuyo Seo, the anime was called Momotaro: Umi no Shinpei (Momotaro: Sacred Sailors). Biggest hit in the 1940's, I even watched the movie. All I got to say is it was way different then American animation, the lighting, the black and white motion pictures, even the music was different. Back in 1940's animation was a little harder to make because they didn't have all the tech-no gear... I say cut them some slack.  I enjoy watching old anime or cartoons around the 1940's to now, it seems interesting how much this world has changed with technology improving over the years. Years went by and people kept improving animation that in 1958, Taiji Yabushita the person who directed Hakujaden and Sanae Yamaoto who also helped with the film by the Toei Doga production company (you guys might know it as Toei Animation), that it became the first colored full-length film in Japan. By the 1960's the Japanese became more serious with anime, that it improved tremendously. Now we have action, drama, horror, adventure and much more! After the Japanese improved over the years they started making series instead of just having movies.  I put some pictures below of some anime shows or movies and how much it has changed over the years. Next time I will be speaking about the different types of anime.

(Notice how it starts to get a little more detailed but it is still little blurry and

doesn't show much detail in the background it focuses more on the two love birds.)

Dragon ball

(Here it is getting more and more detailed. You can tell that the old man said something and of course little kids love to copy adults if it looks fun. It shows not just the background detail but even parts of the clothes are shaded.)

 

 

 Fullmetal Alchemist

(It is really detailed. The shading is awesome, the detail is even better. I know it doesn't have a background but you get the idea of something going to be this detailed so will the background. It looks so realistic and you can tell they are about to fight and the pip-squeak is going to attack first. Notice as well that the clothes move so it looks like he is really moving and his clothes aren't just like rectangle or box shape looking. Like the wind blowing in your hair when you draw someone's hair moving in the wind its going to have to look like it is, not just have it straight down... unless your bald then you don't have to worry about hair going into your face or someone trying to draw you hair.)
